The Dying Art of Parenting

Remember parents? For me, my parents were the ones who gave me a moral compass and educational goals and some sense of spiritual direction.

It seems that now, more and more people are looking to the government to raise their children. Where your teachers used to teach reading, writing and 'rithmatic, now people are expecting their kids' teachers to teach them right from wrong, and to instill some sort of government-approved spirituality. What has happened to parenting? Where have all the parents gone? The breaking down of families is of great concern to me, and it affects the well-being and the economy of our entire nation.
