I can't take myself anywhere!

So my highly skilled husband does my clothing shopping. Left to myself, there's no telling what I might wear. Yesterday, he kindly came home with a very cute, modest, and trendy outfit. One that makes me feel young and hip. Well, I wore it today, feeling very sophisticated, young, trendy, cute, modest, proud, and having a spring in my step. Had anyone ever looked so well outfitted as I did? I took my hip little dog walking in the park, tip-toeing through the tulips, and then I did grocery shopping at two stores and I ran into a friend from church, too. I got home and made my lunch, and then I discovered the real reason all eyes were on me and my slick new outfit--it was because I had forgotten to take the big adhesive size tags off! Talk about your Halloween nightmare. That's what I get for being so cocky. You can put the girl in smart and sophisticated clothes, but you can't make the girl smart and sophisticated.

Don't tell Rufus. He probably felt like he was king of the world being with such a sophisticated lady. He'll be mortified if he finds out the truth.

Love reading you Jen.

It was your husband's job to take off the tags off!

Tell'em Rufus.

If I got a buck everytime I went walking around with the tags still on my new clothes, I'd probably have like $113,498 in my checking account.

That's too funny! I've done that before. I can still remember, also, my sister-in-law with walking around with a "S" sticker in the left front pocket area of her shirt. How do you tell your sister-in-law about something like that???

Yea, that's a bad one, as if you want a sticker on your chest telling the world it is small. That's the worst, I don't know why they put it there. I can't imagine what that might do to your self-esteem!

That is HYSTERICAL. Jen, you are the best! I love you.

petunia, thank you. I'm so glad to hear that you like my pictures. I had no way of knowing if anyone besides myself could view them. I'll have to look at them again. Thanks for the comment. Please leave more; I love feedback-especially when it's nice. How long have you been reading my blog? How did you find it?

P.S. My husband's from VA.
