Yesterday was the coolest day this week. Besides the low temperatures and refreshing breeze, I spent the day with some really cool friends at some really cool places. First, we all met for lunch at a really cute outdoor café, and then we spent some time relaxing, taking pictures, and walking around, enjoying great art and beautiful flora and fauna at the appropriately named Descanso Gardens. After we had worked up an appetite, we went into town for milkshakes, walking, talking, and shopping. We worked up another appetite, so we went down the road for a fun and lively dinner, complete with Flamenco dancing. (One of our own even got up on stage and participated!) It was an entirely lovely day, blessed with sunshine and a cool breeze, and great friends who love the Lord and share one hope in Jesus Christ.
