Today, I am one day closer to being able to walk a 5k when I am 70, like my mom did. Today marks an exact number of years that God's given me life and breath as I walk through the valleys and hilltops of the earth.
I'm writing this on Sunday, Oct. 28 (in my newest journal), which is a night for celebration throughout all of San Francisco. Mr. M and I rode a streetcar back to our hotel after seeing a movie ("The Wrecking Crew", about studio musicians from the 50s and 60s), and hordes of people in crazy orange and black costumes were making a lot of noise and setting off fireworks. People were literally dancing in the streets, and cars were honking all night. San Francisco was celebrating the Giants' latest victory.
I am also celebrating the amazing day I had, about which I will write more later. What are you celebrating today?
