What a Day!

Welcome home indeed! I accompanied Mr. M to a race track out in the desert yesterday, and the day was perfect. Way out in the high desert, just enough cloud cover to make the sun enjoyable, enough blue sky to remind me I was back in Cali. Mr. M did some laps around the track, and we took pictures of our friends doing their laps. While we stood in the sun taking pictures, we were at the very highest point at the track, so we had an amazing view of the entire desert valley, and the wind was strong there, so it was perfect for a little Fall sunbathing. We ended the desert adventure with dinner at the restaurant that serves the town's tiny airport. It was a wonderful welcome, and a reminder of why I love California.
