Praying God's Will

I was recently praying through a list of friends, praying for peace and happiness within their families, success and opportunity in their jobs, and for God's blessing in their lives. It occurred to me that this is praying for God's will. He wants to bless His children and secure their peace and happiness. These blessings may come through some trying circumstances, and they may come in unexpected (even undesired) ways, but God has already blessed His people and will continue to do so. It is good to know that your prayers, when they are for the welfare of God's people, are in agreement with His will.
