Chickens and Other Winged Creatures-The Ugly Parts of my Life

In a previous post, I wrote about reading a blog about writing a blog. I took one of the author's challenges and described my ideal reader. Today, I take up another challenge of his . . . to be honest about the ugly parts of my life. So I thought about one of the ugliest parts of my life: my fear of fidgety, unpredictable living things. Chickens are at the top of this list, as is anything with wings. If I didn't already have the fear of God in me, the many and various winged creatures in creation would put it there. What with their flipping and flapping and flopping, fowl of any sort scare the dickens out of me. That's my ugly reality. I feel like a better writer now.
