Holiday Meals

I am constantly amazed by how concerned God is for the orphan and the widow and the foreigner and all lonely people. Every moment of our lives, and especially during the holidays, we have a great opportunity to share in God's compassion for the lonely people around us. Can you make an extra space at your table for your elderly neighbor who will be alone, or the widow who comes faithfully to church? What about an international student, or a friend who has no family in town to be with? I'm going to be focusing on sharing in God's compassion for hurting, lonely people during the holidays. He has given me much, and I want to share what I have.
