Still at the Dog Park
I left my perch facing the bay and walked into town to get a smoothie (pineapple). I returned to the park, but planted myself on a new bench facing the city. I do enjoy leaving my computing and social media technologies at home; I also enjoy writing for an audience of more-than-one. That is why I buy so many new journals when I am far from my computation and media distribution devices-so that I can find a quiet place to write in peace, and save it and share it with all my friends when I get home. I have long held to the notion that writing should be spontaneous and not previously recorded, but if I only wrote spontaneously from my computer desk, then I would never write about the sun on my back (because the sun will never be on my back while I sit in the office at my desk unless an airplane or a meteor crashes into our house and leaves a huge hole in the roof, in which case I think I would be a little too preoccupied with other things to write about the sun on my back.)
