Jan. 26, 1996-Setting a Precedent

It was the night before the big day. Mr. M and I, along with our families and close friends and various other persons, had gone to the chapel where we were to be wed to practice walking and standing. Then, we all went to a fancy dinner. Then, a small portion of the group went to Mr. M's house to watch a movie (Jumangi). The group was half-watching the movie, and half just hanging out. I was talking to some future relatives when I somehow spilled some soda on Mr. M's high-tech audio/visual set up. (I can't pretend to be surprised at this occurrence, given that I tend to be very animated when I am excited.) Now, close to 17 years later, I see that that party set a precedent: one wherein Mr.M has fancy, techy stuff, and I make big gestures with my arms while lost in the telling of a story, and I end up spilling soda all over.
