Web Logging my Life, Logging my Life on the Web

. . . or, to be more concise, blogging. As I walked to the mall to meet Mr.M and a couple other real life (not virtual) friends for lunch, I was thinking about my life on the web, and the little cyber community I've created. It's funny to think how close I feel to some of my cyber friends, and I pray for them. (That kinda' feels the way it feels when I pray for characters in movies when they are in danger . . . wait, an I the only one who does that?) Last year, I really tried every trick I could think of to promote my blog, but now I am going for quality over quantity. I want my blog to be a safe place. I want to use much discernment in the blogs I endorse. I pray that my silly or serious words might be just what someone needs to hear that day. And I pray my writing will give my readers the sense that they know me and that they would be welcome to come sit and have a cup of tea with me. It is amazing how many people we have access to now that we have the interwebs. It is a stewardship, and I want to be faithful to God in it, and be worthy of the trust of my readers. I want this to be a place for two way relationships, not just a soapbox for me.
