How Faithful Friends and Save Me Money.

I was reading book reviews on Amazon, specifically a book on taming your tongue, the importance of which can't be overstated. I am always amazed at the huge power of our words, and as someone who values true, deep friendships, I want to be very careful with the words I choose. The reviews were all positive-all but 1, who didn't like the book because it is Bible based-, but I was reminded that, unlike most of the reviewers, negativity has never had a place in my conversations with friends. I was reminded, rather, of the importance of choosing your friends carefully. I was reminded how thankful I am to go to a very Biblical church, where teaching out of the Scripture is emphasized, so that all who attend this church (or any church that faithfully teaches the Bible) know without doubt the importance of our words. Sweet and encouraging conversation is modeled for me every day, and the basis for that-the Gospel of Christ and His love for us-is taught weekly.
