Standing Firm.

Have you lost heart or become weary? Have you just gotten tired of standing apart? Have you felt like just giving up and giving in? It would be easier. There are a lot of things making it uncomfortable to stand firm in our faith, to hold steadfastly to our convictions. I believe it comes down to our hearts. Sure, we can boycott and protest, but are we fully convinced in our hearts that God is sovereign and that He is controlling the hearts of our leaders and the laws we adopt in our country? These are defining days, with so many trying to redefine marriage and family, and redefining what constitutes murder. As Christians, we must remain steadfast, grounded in God's word, not letting society dictate the state of our hearts. Only God, who created and saved our hearts, has that prerogative. We must guard our hearts, letting them be influenced only by Him and His good desires for us. We must remain vigilant and not let any corrupting influence change our hearts; in this we must not become weary.
