Celebrating the Small

Today, I had the adventure of a lifetime; I drove across town to get a burrito and realized that my lifetime IS the adventure. Going out for the burrito was the only time I got out today (due in part to illness and due in part to unhealthy air quality caused by all the fires), but, still, that was my today. As anti-climactic as it may be, that is the story of my May 3, 2013. That was how I experienced life today. The eerie red sky with the bright orange sun ball made for a beautiful, if not ominous, drive. I drove past a park, past Persnicketta's house, I saw a friend driving the opposite direction, and then I waited in line for my to-go burrito. I drove back to the park and ate in my car under the ashy orange sky. (The burrito, called a Taco Burrito, was perfect for clearing my sinuses.) This is what life is: sometimes it is flashy and exciting, other times it is sitting in the car eating a good burrito after a long day of reading. Life in itself is an adventure.
