The Many Hats of Persnicketta

As you may recall, my friend Persnicketta wears many different hats. I would like to describe them in more detail. First, she most often wears her young business professional hat. It is a bright red knit stocking cap. More than reminding her of her role as a young professional during the working hours, this hat keeps her head warm in the early hours of the morning when she leaves for work. Then there is her John Deere mesh cap that she wears when she starts to feel too comfortable and at home in the city. This hat makes her feel connected to her country roots. The last hat I will mention in this brief synopsis is Persnicketta's "friend hat", the hat she wears when she is just being a regular person, hanging out with friends. This hat she wears whether she is walking, or watching a movie, or chatting over a cup of coffee with a friend. This hat is a bright blue felt top hat. It is weird, and sometimes even embarrassing, but you take your friends as they are. There are many other hats of Persnicketta, most of them top secret hats for undercover work, and there are other hats I just don't have the time to tell you about. I have just come to see Persnicketta's hats as a way to read her mood, and predict what her plans are.
