In a Dark Valley, Psalm 23

There is a very real sense that I would like to just fast forward through these long and dark winter days; but we are called to endure, and to draw near to God. Loneliness is a trial, but we know that every trial is an opportunity to draw closer to God and experience His love personally. We are called to walk through these times (with God by our side), fixing our eyes on Heaven and the joys that await us there. Waiting for Spring is tiresome and lonely, but God promises to lead us and guide us through the valley and provide lovely and comforting respites along the way.
