Single-Focus Christianity

I was sad to hear my friend tell me she often feels silently judged at church.  She feels the need to defend herself if she mentions that she recycles.  It seems to me that far too many Christians have forgotten that Christianity is all about Christ.  It is only your relationship to Christ that determines your eternal standing before God.  Whether you recycle or not is no reflection on your Christianity; neither is your stance on gun control.  Christianity is all about Jesus, and we pollute Christianity when we add other issues and concerns to it.  The thing that defines Christianity is Christ alone.  Let's get our hearts focused on Him before tackling other issues and concerns of the day.
