Can't Be a Beach Bum? Be a Porch Bum!

Certain circumstances prevent me from going to the beach, complete with towel and a big hat and a good book.  So I am happily settling for my front porch, which saves me so much drive time, and saves me a lot of money in gas and wear and tear on my car and saves me the headache of trying to find a parking spot . . . plus, I don't have sand blowing in my lunch! I've joined a book group at a local church, and we will be reading Messy Beautiful Friendship.  I'll get the book in 2 days, and I am so looking forward to it!  I'll just have to remember to watch out for land sharks while I'm reading on the porch.
