A New Perspective on Problems

I am pretty good at helping people clarify and solve their problems.  However, when I am in a conundrum, I am one of the last people whose advice I seek.  That is a shame, and this morning I just want to encourage all of you to do something I have found very helpful:  when I have a sticky situation and I don't know what to do, I ask myself what advice I would give to a friend who was in that situation.  That usually clarifies things for me, and really helps me to think through the situation at hand.
