A Short Break

I finished This is Paradise yesterday. A whole book in one day! It is the detailed account of one boy's childhood in North Korea, and his family's eventual escape to South Korea through China, Cambodia and Laos; a page turner for sure.

Today, I am taking a break to celebrate a marriage. I am looking forward once again to seeing my friends, and to rejoicing together in God's goodness in allowing this marriage today.

For my evening reading, I will read a book that I only let myself read on Saturday night, Saturday Night by Susan Orlean. In the book, Susan writes about different events happening on Saturday nights. I will start my North Korean studies again on Monday. Happy Labor Day weekend!
