Voting

I just ordered Ancient Rome: The Rise and Fall of an Empire by Simon Baker. From the reviews, and from what little I know of Rome, that empire bears a striking resemblance to our country. Cicero, when he reflected on the Roman Empire, said dejectedly, "Oh, the times! Oh, the morals!" I feel like saying this dejectedly as I consider the state of the American people. I hear murmurings of Christians not wanting to vote in this election, and I think that is the worst thing we can do. Due to some very brave men and women, we have the right to vote, and we must be responsible (and grateful!) stewards of that right. We need to vote, and not just look around us in dejection lamenting the times and the morals.
