Unstained

A friend of my summarized her resolutions for 2013 into one word. (Her word was gratitude.) My word is unstained, from James 1, keeping myself unstained by the world. I've found, through many friends that God has put in my life, that entertainment doesn't have to be crude or coarse to be entertaining; on the contrary, I have more fun sitting around chatting with a couple of friends from church than I have watching a movie. I will resolve to choose my activities, friends, and entertainment more carefully this year and all the years God gives me.
