Moving And Staying

This past weekend, Persnicketta shocked me by saying that she's enjoyed all the moving she's done in her life. I thought everyone hated moving. Maybe it's only me who is repulsed by the mere thought of trying to establish a life for myself in a new town. I've been around for 37 years, and I've lived in 2 houses. The house I grew up in in Los Angeles, and the little house Mr.M and I share just outside of Los Angeles. Maybe one reason I would hate to move is because I can't imagine not having friends in town. It was just me and my parents for the first 20 years of my life, and it's just been me and Mr. M for the past 17 years. Without friends in town, I'd be on my own most of the time, which is an unimaginable thought. I wonder if this is common. Do most people enjoy moving, or would most rather stay put? What about you? What is your preference?
