My Life, and The People in my Life

Those two things are so interconnected, but I want to be very careful to make sure to define and differentiate them. I learned this week from watching a rerun of The Rockford Files that very bad things can happen when you use the people in your life as material for your writing, and cease to see them as gifts from God, there for you to love and to care for. I first love the people in my life, and thank God for them . . . then I write about them; because they encourage me to think deeply on important issues, because they make me laugh, because they fascinate and surprise me. I write about what I love, and I love Mr. M and other VIPs in my life. And I hope that my writing about them won't, as happened in The Rockford Files, end in murder.
