All I Have Needed Book Review

I just finished All I Have Needed: A Legacy For Life by Miriam Jones Bradley. I started the book yesterday. It was a quick, thoroughly enjoyable read. The book is a collection of stories, memories and lessons from the author's family and extended family. I love listening to my friends' stories and memories, so I enjoyed reading Mrs. Bradley's valuable story-lessons. As a wife who is not a mother, I think the book especially resonated with me. Mrs. Bradley doesn't speak only of her biological family, but also the people in her church family who impacted her life during the most impressionable years of her youth. I know this is true for me, also. I learned a lot from the widow next door, and the many singles and young couples in the small church I grew up in. Mrs. Bradley also makes much of her relationships with nieces and nephews, and that also resonates strongly with me as my nieces and nephews are the closest younger relations in my life.

This book is both a look backwards, to the family and friends who've influenced us and given us precious memories, and also a look forward to the many ways we can pass on the wisdom we've gained through the years to the younger people in our lives, seeking to benefit them and serve them well by sharing what we've learned.

This was a great book, and a beneficial one. I am glad to have read it.

I was given a free copy of the book to review. You can find more on this book and other great books at http://ambassador-international.com/books/all-i-have-needed-a-legacy-for-life.
