SweetBriar and DiscoBall

I made a short friend named DiscoBall when she and her husband came to California for seminary. They came from the frozen arctic tundra state of Minnesota. They moved back there after he graduated. So when my good friend SweetBriar (she's a gem) moved to Minnesota with her husband, I wanted to make sure she and DiscoBall became friends. SweetBriar and I have been friends for many years, and we are both very competitive. I lost a bet to her a while back, and now I have to say, "She's a gem" whenever I mention SweetBriar. Well, at least it's true; SweetBriar is a gem . . . but now she's a frozen gem.
