Our Flop House

Just before marrying, Mr. M and I took a family trip where we stayed in the very formal home of relatives. We did not want our home to be like this-we wanted a home where family and friends would feel comfortable to come over and just flop-to get comfy on the couch and have a cup of tea. When our friends come over, we do want to impress them . . . impress them with loving and comfortable hospitality. Our home is not impeccable, and we don't have themed decorations that change with the season. But as I've said before, we have a humongous and comfy couch and a nice kitchen where I make a good cup of tea, and excellent smoothies (if I do say so myself. And I do.)
