Introducing Lenore

Emily's close friend, Lenore, has been in a very similar situation this week.  She also had to opt out of a family vacation due to health problems.  Lenore so wanted to accompany her immediate and extended family to the rocky coast of Maine, but there was just no way.  Her health had forced her to miss this time with her family.  It was unfortunate that Emily's own health had prevented her from going through with her travel plans, but at least this way Lenore wouldn't be totally alone; Emily was just in the next town, and could rush to her friend's home, if need be.
