My long friendship with Mrs. A began at Disneyland, when her husband's employer (who is also Mr. M's employer) paid for the entire company to go to Disneyland. Mrs. A and I would both be out of steam by late afternoon, so I would just hang out with her and her kids for the remainder of the day, leisurely whiling away the hours until the park closed and it was time for our group (about 12) to go to Denny's.
It was at one of these Disneyland Days many years ago that I met JT, and we clicked right away. Years after we met, JT got her teaching credentials, and I helped her in her classroom weekly. Now, JT is JG, and she and her husband are planning to move back into town.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! It's been a lot of fun to look over friendships and remember how they began and what makes them special. It's always good to count (and write about) our blessings. I'm not done with the series, but I am taking a break today. Thanks for the encouragement!
