Beneficial Blogging

I've been thinking about words lately, specifically the exhortation of Paul to use words that will benefit the listener (or reader.) (Eph. 4:29.) I want my blog to be beneficial. Times are getting tougher in America, and passionate Christians who live their lives according to the Bible are becoming fewer. Changes in society have meant change in the (outwardly visible) church. The truth that is most comforting to me now is that God's true Church, the elect, will remain unchanged despite the society. Jesus has assured us that His Church will stand, that His church will prevail, and that He will protect us through every trial, every changing wind of doctrine.
