Love Into Light

This is a compassionate little book about a big, controversial topic. The author shows that the Christian need not fear discussing homosexual desires. Christians are urged to view homosexuals through a lens of care and compassion. Peter Hubbard wants the Church to not only acknowledge homosexuality, but to talk about it and use honest conversation as a way to remind both ourselves and others of the need every person-EVERY person-has for daily grace through Jesus. The struggles may differ, but the answer is the same. The Gospel is set forth as a universal need- for the gay and the straight, the white and the black the educated and the uneducated . . . every person on earth. This book simply calls Christians to live as Christians . . . to acknowledge that we all sin in one way or another, and that we all stand in need of grace and forgiveness. The book calls Christians to hold to their convictions regardless of the controversy swirling around them. Christians are called to be genuine and honest, to forget assumptions, and above all, to be loving.
