The End of the Day

Knowing I was nervous about what this day might hold for me, Mr. M took me to lunch. It was a warm and beautiful day, so we ate outside. I had a comfort meal of grilled cheese and a chocolate shake. As we were leaving, I was amused by the way the sun was taking the recycling symbols from the lid of the plastic cup and reproducing the symbols on my shake. This was a good reminder to me to be thankful for even the smallest things, like sunshine and chocolate shakes. I have some better posts written and ready to go, but I wanted to take a break from my scheduled writing and just write from my heart.
