My Car, My Self

This is my understated car. I think it is pretty obvious that I don't like to draw attention to myself.
This is my bike. It is one of the coolest bikes I've seen, and one of my favorite things about me.
This is my bright red kayak. I like bright colors. I like my car and the sunny yellow that it is painted. My friends like my car, too. I have my suspicions that when I am invited to a party, it is because people like my car and want to see it. The same goes for going out for coffee. My car is just so cool . . . much cooler than I. My car keeps me young, or at least gives the illusion of youth. I chose this car because of the accommodations it offered to my bike and my kayak and my other youthful toys. I have now said goodbye to both the bike and the kayak, but my sunshine yellow car still tools around town like a big sign that says, "The White Wave is here!" There are few cars like mine around, so when I go to the desert to have coffee with my great friend there and see that her neighbor has my car in blue, I know that our friendship was meant to be.

By the way, that really is one of the coolest bikes I've ever seen. I love it!
