Dry Times

I found myself at a local bookstore today, and I found myself carrying around this book with Intent to Purchase.  I don't usually take any interest in books written for the encouragement of Christian women, because I like to think I'm above needing encouragement.  I'm not.  I don't think anyone is.  We all go through dry times, even dark times, when we really need encouragement for our souls.  Since these dry times hit us all at one time or another, there is no shame in them-no shame in admitting we are in need of encouragement and prayer.  When you are going through a rough patch in your life, do yourself a huge favor and seek encouragement and prayer from faithful friends who will seek the welfare of your soul.
