Fat Dog

This is my best rendition of a fat dog.  Today, while so many are cooking and cleaning and looking forward to feasting with family and friends, (as am I), I am also praying that my blunt dad won't walk into the home of our hostess and exclaim, "Oh, my gosh!  Your dog is so FAT!!"  I have been reading Dog Stories by James Herriot.  In the book, Dr. Herriot describes one of his canine patients, Tricki Woo, as looking like "an overstuffed sausage with a leg at each corner."  That is a fitting description of our hostess' dog.  Happy Thanksgiving!  Don't feed your dogs turkey, and remember to take them for a walk.
